Why a character

A face for your brand that never stops working

Logos are recognised; characters are liked. A well-built character fronts your explainers, your ads, your onboarding, your trade-show screens — and audiences greet it like a colleague. It is the single most re-usable asset we make, and the hardest one to get right without a studio that does it every week.

  • One character, endless reuse — ads, explainers, social, packaging, events
  • Personality designed on purpose: silhouette, expressions, and movement that match your brand
  • Delivered rigged and render-ready, so animating episode two is fast
  • You own the character outright — model, rig, and design files included

What we build

From mascot to main character

01

Brand mascots & spokescharacters

The recurring face of your brand, designed to survive years of campaigns without getting old.

02

Story characters

Heroes, sidekicks, and villains for brand films and series work, built to carry emotion.

03

Product characters

Products with faces and attitude — the talking truck, the dancing pack — that make demos memorable.

04

Character systems

Turnarounds, expression sheets, pose libraries, and rigs so any future film starts at full speed.

How it works

Sketch to final render, all under one roof

Every stage below is visible on our character development page — real characters, from first pencil line to final render.

  1. 01

    Character brief

Who is this character, who must love them, and where will they live? We pin it down in writing.

  2. 02

    Sketch & silhouette

Pencil explorations until the silhouette reads at a glance — the test every great character passes.

  3. 03

    Sculpt & blockout

The approved sketch becomes a 3D sculpt; proportions and forms are locked in clay-grey.

  4. 04

    Texture & look-dev

Skin, fabric, surfaces, and lighting tests give the character its finished look.

  5. 05

    Rig & pose tests

Bones, controls, and facial rig — then pose and expression tests prove the personality moves.

  6. 06

    Final renders & delivery

Hero renders, turnarounds, and the full working files, ready for animation or print.

Questions, answered

How much does character modelling cost?

Most brand characters land between $500 and $2,000 depending on complexity, rig depth, and how many variations you need. Tell us the idea and you get a fixed quote before anything starts.

How long does it take?

A typical character takes 1–3 weeks from brief to rigged, render-ready delivery. Sketch approval is the main checkpoint.

Do we own the character?

Yes — completely. Design, 3D model, rig, and source files transfer to you on final payment.

Can you animate the character afterwards?

That is the point: everything we build is rigged for production, and most clients go straight into an explainer or brand film with us.

Can you build from our existing 2D mascot?

Yes. We regularly translate 2D mascots and style guides into faithful, fully rigged 3D versions.

What do we receive at delivery?

Hero renders, 360° turnaround, expression sheet, the rigged model, and source files — plus cut-down images for web and social.
